This apartment was designed around the idea of subtle spatial separation within an open-plan layout, allowing each function to exist independently while maintaining a strong visual connection across the entire space, whilst achieving a luxurious yet comfortable feel.
Upon entering the apartment, a floating feeling welcomes you at arrival point. The circulation follows the travertine flooring, enhancing the perception of openness through the whole area.
One of the key design moves within this project is the clear distinction between circulation paths and living zones through material transitions.
The vertical shelving wall running along the corridor serves multiple purposes beyond storage; it introduces rhythm and depth along what would otherwise be a transitional space.
Within the seating area, an enhanced vertically grooved feature panel finished in textured mineral plaster, creating a soft ambient glow that accentuates surface depth while contributing to the layered lighting strategy used throughout the apartment.
A custom-designed coffee table combines a polished light marble top with a dark walnut wood base, and full-height sheer curtains and light linen fabric filter natural daylight entering the space, maintaining brightness while ensuring visual comfort and privacy.
The dining area is defined by a suspended textured architectural fireplace. Acting as a semi-transparent visual divider, this element creates a sense of intimacy for the dining zone while preserving depth and continuity towards the living area beyond.

Full apartment design β thoughtfully conceptualized and adapted to the clientsβ way of living.
A restrained selection of materials was used throughout the apartment to balance warmth and sophistication:
Vein-cut travertine flooring within circulation areas
Dark walnut wooden parquet flooring in gathering zones
Natural walnut wood cladding to architectural ceiling elements
Textured mineral plaster feature panels
Brushed bronze metal accents
Together, these materials establish a calm and cohesive environment that supports everyday functionality while maintaining a refined contemporary identity.
